ROUND ISLAND |

Gain an interesting insight into Chinese mythology characters, legends and folklore at the Haw Par Villa
Then, continue your journey northwards to the Kranji War Memorial. Unveiled in 1957, the memorial commemorates over 20,000 men and women who gave their lives for freedom in World War II.
Lunch at the local restaurant before proceeding to Bright Hill Temple, a famous Chinese ancestral place of worship. Drive past the Johore Bahru Battery and view a replicated 15-inch 'Monster Gun' the largest to be installed outside Britian in World War II.
Our final stop - Changi Chapel & Museum. The museum focuses on the memories and lives of both POWs and civilian internees who survived the Japanese Occupation while the Changi Chapel is a symbolic replica of the original chapel found in the Changi Prison. |

Wander through the bustling enclaves of Katong & Joo Chiat that showcases the rich and baroque Peranakan architecture. Admire rows of colourful traditional shophouses that date back to the 1920's and 1930's.
A sampling of Nonya Delicacies will complete the trail. |

FOUNDING FOOTSTEPS OF RAFFLES |

This tour starts from where it all began - at Raffles Landing Site - where Sir Stamford Raffles is believed to have first stepped ashore in 1819, before progressing to an Exhibition that traces the history of the Singapore River.
Next, stop at Raffles Hotel, where hives of activities were held for the high-society in the 1800s. Here, enjoy either an Afternoon Tea Buffet with English / Local delicacies or Light refreshments.
Board a Bumboat and cruise along the historic Singapore River. Disembark at Clarke Quay, a riverside festive village where you will visit a Pewter Gallery to discover the history of pewter and role of tin in the development of Singapore as a trading port. Be entertained by a demonstration of pewtersmithing. |

MORNING AT THE ZOO |

Leave the city behind as we head north to Mandai for a visit to one of the world’s top and most beautiful zoos. The Singapore Zoo** is spread over 28 hectares and is haven to over 3,600 mammals, birds and reptiles including some rare and endangered species. It uses natural barriers like streams, rock walls and vegetation to separate animals from visitors creating an “open zoo” effect. You will get to experience this new concept in animal keeping highlighted by beautiful landscaping and very few cages from the comfort of your tram.
