The Singapore RECLAIM Water Workshop is dedicated to working towards sustainable water reclamation solutions. Using dissemination of project results of the RECLAIM Water* as a platform, the objective of the workshop is to foster interaction, stimulate discussion and promote co-operation among the global water community.

The workshop is accredited by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore with 6 PDUs. It is also designated as a co-located event of the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), and comprises a one-day symposium on 23 June at the Waterhub and technical site visit on 27 June 2008.

Speakers of the workshop are world leading water experts from the scientific as well as industrial domain. They include coordinator of the RECLAIM Water project, Professor Thomas Melin, 2003 Stockholm Water Prize Winner, Professor Peter Wilderer, Chair of IWA Water Reuse Specialist Group, Professor In Kim and many other international and regional water experts.


The workshop covers a wide range of topics encompassing:
- Treatment technologies
- Water quality and risk management
- Case studies and application examples

Organisation of the Singapore RECLAIM Water workshop is a collective endeavour from various partners. Their common goal is to foster international interaction and exchange, as well as to promote multinational R&D co-operation among the global water community. The workshop is supported by the European Commission.
